The evening concert traditionally opens the festival's "jam-packed programme" and this year's Modeselektor ist on with a "new record and an updated A/V show".
The organizers about the German duo:
"Since East Germans Gernot Bronsert and Sebastian Szary discovered synthesizers and drum machines right after the fall of the Berlin Wall, dismissing borders of any kind has become their M.O., and today they are widely respected as notable electronic music missionaries."
