NATURE ONE 2018: Let's recap with pics and a video!

At the 24th edition of NATURE ONE 2018, 54,000 visitors (per day) celebrated under the motto "all you need to be" at the Pydna missile base near Kastellaun.

"36 degrees and the rave continues" - that was just one of the heat-related battle cries at NATURE ONE last weekend. In the end, the heat really didn't harm the visitors: 54,000 fans came to the Pydna missile base near Kastellaun in Hunsrück. For 4 days they celebrated the different styles of electronic music in tents, bunkers, open air and in the CampingVillage. Altogether more than 350 DJs and LiveActs played on 23 floors.

One of the highlights was the Echo-winner Alle Farben live set on the OpenAirFloor. Supported by a singer, he played his hits "Music Is My Best Friend" and "Please Tell Rosie" live. Alle Farben stood in for Sam Feldt, who had to undergo surgery on his leg after a traffic accident. The stars Paul van Dyk and Sven Väth were also celebrated frenetically. In the "Century Circus" Nina Kraviz  enthused among others. The new "HomeBase" floor (formerly "House of House") offered visitors stylistic variety: from house, tech, bass and electro.

The traditional fireworks over the Pydna could not be carried out due to the extreme drought and the associated fire hazard. Apart from that, there were no significant incidents due to the high temperatures. Free drinking water on the camping site quenched the thirst of the visitors and filled the pools they brought along. Both the arrival and departure of the visitors went smoothly.

Next year NATURE ONE will be celebrated for the 25th time. In addition to many specials for this anniversary, there will also be a particularly spectacular fireworks show.
